Sem Igual Lagar Red

Sem Igual Lagar Red is made from the red grapes varieties stomped in our old granit tank – Named as Lagar. Ferments with the skin and stem in the grait Lagar for around 10 days. Then fermentation is finished in used french oak 500 liter barrels.

With aromas of ripe red fruits with delicate plumbs notes, as well as hints of clove, on the mouth, it has a structured body and a persistent finish, making it excellent to pair with complex, structured dishes – meat, fish, and vegetables – especially oven-baked recipes that balance its acidity and oak-aged complexity.

The Lagar edition is limited to 1333 bottles.

Manually picked grapes in excellent sanitary condition, into small boxes (17 kg). Full bunch stomped in old granit tanks (Lagar). Fermented in Lagar supported by indigenous yeast, for 10 days. Pressed using old manual mechanical press. End of fermentation and aging in used french oak barrels (500 liters) for 12 months. The wine was released after aging one additional year in the bottle.

Pairs excellently with structured dishes, including meat, fish, and vegetables. It complements oven-baked dishes that are well-textured and seasoned, harmonizing beautifully with the wine’s high acidity and the complexity imparted by oak barrel aging.
