Sem Igual White is made from old vines Arinto and Azal grapes, planted in 1931, following the pergola training system called “Ramadas” here in Portugal. The a light yellow color with citrus and mineral aromas. On the palate, it is fresh, bone dry, nice mid palate structure, with a very long finish, perfect for pairing with white rich fish dishes, red meat and some heavy spicy food. Wines with great aging potential. Only a few editions available, being the initial one 2017. Around 600 bottles produced in average. This wine is available only in exceptional years, so far 2017, 2018 and 2021.

Arinto and Azal grapes sourced from old vines, in pergola training system manually picked in excellent sanitary condition, into small boxes (17 kg), that are directly pressed, the full bunch. The wine ages in small stainless steel vats for 7 months. The wine is normally released after aging two additional year in the bottle.

The nose it makes an overall very saline impression so our first suggestion is to accompany with grilled fish. With a good grip on the palate, the ripe acid nerve is well integrated, which is also great for greasy meats, sushi, pastas or cheeses.
