Sem Igual White is made from old vines Arinto and Azal grapes, planted in 1931, following the pergola training system called “Ramadas” here in Portugal. The a yellow color with citrus, mineral and toast aromas. On the palate, it is fresh, bone dry, nice mid palate structure, with a very long finish, perfect for pairing with white rich fish dishes, red meat and some heavy spicy food. Wines with great aging potential. Only a few editions available, being the initial one 2017. Around 600 bottles produced in average. This wine is available only in exceptional years, so far 2017, 2018 and 2020.

Arinto and Azal grapes sourced from old vines, in pergola training system, at 240 meters altitude in granite soil. Manually picked grapes in excellent sanitary condition, into small boxes (17 kg), that are directly pressed, the full bunch. The wine ends fermentation and ages in used french oak barrels (225 liters) for 7 months. The wine is normally released after aging two additional year in the bottle.

A winter white wine, with oak aging that can be a great option for a oven/roasted cooked dishes or stews .
